Alpha Test players! This is for you!!
While praying about how to implement some fun things for you all to do while you’re waiting on us to finish the game, I got this idea for a screenshot quest you can do. The reward for this quest is a free download of Visions for the friend of your choice! So if you win, your friend wins too and can log in to play with you!
Treasure Hunting with a Pet
Convince a pet to follow you all over the island.
Between now and the end of August…
Take a screenshot of yourself with that pet at key locations in the current build of the game!
1. Kourion Beach
2. Eustolios House in Kourion
3. The highest peak near Tamassos
4. Paphos docks
5. Adonis pool near Paphos
6. The well in Marion village
7. The theater in Soloi
8. The beach near Amathus
9. The Kition info point
10. The plains of Salamis
Post a screenshot of yourself (your avatar) with ALL the tameable pets currently available in the Alpha version of the game, at ALL of these locations, and win a FREE DOWNLOAD of Visions to give to the friend of your choice! Post your screenshot submissions over here in the forums. A developer will evaluate the screenshots for accuracy of location. Once your screenshot submissions have been approved you will be contacted by email on the forums about your prize, so please be sure that your FORUM registered email address is up to date and accurate!

Tameable pets currently in the game:
Flamingo
chicken
crab
starfish
leopard
a rabbit (baby or standard)
kitty
a horse (war, riding, or baby)
rat
a dolphin (any size)
(You don’t need to include the spider, it’s a default Bigworld creature and we don’t intend to keep it for Visions.)
(And, yes it’s kinda funny that the dolphins can go on land. We haven’t fixed the swimming physics yet. This is what it’s like to be in the Alpha! You get to experience the world like the developers do!)
Deadline for this quest is August 31 at Midnight, pacific time.
HINT: To tame a pet, you click on it when you have NO item equipped. It will not “belong” to you but will follow you like a pet. If you run too fast, it will get tired and go home. If you log off it will return home also.
